This oak tree had been in decline for many years. When we were called in to remove it, it was a clear danger to surrounding gardens, with a number of large branches already having fallen off. Due to the confined working area, the tree had to be rigged down using pulleys and slings. This technique lessens the impact on the garden by carefully controlling the removal of timber from the tree trunk using ropes.
